With support from the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, TECH CORPS will implement its Techie Camp® program with 20 elementary school girls from across Columbus during the summer of 2017.
Techie Camp is a full-day, week-long technology experience designed specifically for elementary and middle school students. The goal of Techie Camp is to engage students in activities that can stimulate a deeper interest in technology; as well as provide opportunities for them to express their imaginations.
The camp is comprised of 20 girls and led by two TECH CORPS Instructors.The topic for this camp will be Robotics. The camp will run during the week of June 5-9 from 9:00AM-4:00PM each day.
Camps will be held at the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland office. Families will be responsible for transportation and lunch/two snacks/beverages.

Girls interested in being selected to participate will need to complete an online application. Applications will be evaluated in the order received. Up to 20 girls will be selected for the camp based on their application (10 points), interest questions (60 points) and letter of recommendation (30 points). Girls will be notified via email by Friday, April 7th.
