Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. Student TECH CORPS (Summer) is a “summer work experience” for inschool students ages 14-18 years old designed to deliver tech support training and certification to students and then harnesses their knowledge to power a Student-Run Help Desk to provide valuable technical support in their school buildings or communities. Students work 25 hours each week and earn up to $9.00 per hour. Eligible students apply to participate in the program and are assigned to one of the Student TECH CORPS worksites. Each cohort (up to 25 studentemployees) is supported by two Worksite Supervisors (Instructors) and a Site Coordinator.
|Dates:||Student TECH CORPS will run from July 8, 2019 - August 2, 2019. Training will take place at the TECH CORPS office during the week of June 10-14, 2019.|
|Time:||Student TECH CORPS will run from Monday-Friday from 8:30AM to 1:30PM. Staff is compensated for instruction, planning time and team meetings.|
|Wage:||$20 per hour|
Direct Report: Student TECH CORPS Instructors report to the Manager of Special Projects - JFS.
Location: Student TECH CORPS is offered via partnerships with K12 schools and nonprofit organizations in Central Ohio.
