Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. Student WEB CORPS is a “summer work experience” for inschool students, ages 14-18 years old designed to strengthen students’ web development, project management and professionalism skills and to apply those skills in the authentic task of building a website for a small business or nonprofit organization. Students work 20 hours each week and earn up to $9.00 per hour. Eligible students apply to participate in the program and are assigned to one of the Student WEB CORPS worksites. Each cohort (up to 25 studentemployees) is supported by two Worksite Supervisors (Instructors) and a Site Coordinator.
|Dates:||Student WEB CORPS will run in Cleveland, OH from June 24, 2019 - August 2, 2019. Training will take place at the TECH CORPS office in Columbus during the week of June 10-14, 2019.|
|Time:||Student WEB CORPS will run from Monday-Friday from 8:30AM to 12:30PM. Staff is compensated for instruction, planning time and team meetings. Program dates and times may vary by region.|
|Wage:||$20 per hour|
Direct Report: Student WEB CORPS Instructors report to the Regional Manager, Northeast Ohio.
Location: Student WEB CORPS is offered via partnerships with K12 schools and nonprofit organizations in Northeast Ohio.
