How Can I Get My School Involved?

School districts petition their TECH CORPS^® chapter to become a TECH CORPS site. The state chapter assumes the responsibilty for training local coordinators and recruiting local volunteers. School districts themselves are responsible for the screening of volunteers and the selection of projects, under the guidance of the state TECH CORPS director.

Although each state chapter will make its own decisions about which school districts will participate, TECH CORPS' philosophy encourages geographic, demographic, and economic diversity.
