Watertown, Mass. – September 19, 2001 – Sterling Hager, Inc., a nationally ranked, full service, technology public relations firm, today announced that it will provide comprehensive public relations services on a pro-bono basis in support of TECH CORPS®, the "national technology Peace Corps" dedicated to improving K-12 education at the grassroots level by helping educators effectively use technology in their schools.

Headquartered in Maynard, Mass., TECH CORPS recruits technology industry volunteers and builds partnerships among educators, businesses and community members to assist schools to introduce new technologies into the classroom. Depending on the specific needs of local schools, TECH CORPS volunteers across the country conduct teacher training seminars, mentor students and staff, repair and install computers, participate on technology planning teams, work side-by-side with teachers in the classroom, assist teachers with the integration of technology into the curriculum, or support a wide variety of other local technology activities.
