Thanks to the support of great partners like JPMorgan Chase, Nordson Corporation Foundation and the Gelfand Engineering and Technology Education Fund at Case Western Reserve University, TECH CORPS is expanding program opportunities in Northeast Ohio.
This summer, TECH CORPS will offer more than 20 Techie Camps across the Northeast Ohio region and has plans to hire more than 10 technology instructors. Whether you are looking for a great summer learning experience for your child or a summer job – TECH CORPS has something to offer.
TECH CORPS to Offer Five Open Enrollment Techie Camps in NE Ohio
Techie Camp is a full- day, week- long program designed to engage elementary and middle school students in hands-on, interactive STEM-related activities. Students take a deep dive into subject matter focused on Robotics, Programming, Android App or Web Development and emerge with skills that are useful in today’s’ classroom and tomorrow’s workplace. Techie Camps will be offered at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University and Lorain County Community College. Details at www.techiecamp.org
FREE Camps for Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Breakthrough School students
With support from the Gelfand Engineering and Technology Education Fund at Case Western Reserve University, TECH CORPS will offer its Techie Camp® program to 120 Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Breakthrough School students this summer. Nordson Corporation Foundation is sponsoring five Techie Camps for 100 Lorain County elementary and middle school students this summer. TECH CORPS is hiring summer instructors to assist with the implementation of its Techie Camp® program. Instructors are given the training, content and guidance to coordinate and implement all day-to-day aspects of Techie Camp. Salary: up to $900/camp.
