DID YOU KNOW? Columbus, Ohio ranks in the top 20 for best metro areas for STEM professionals according to WalletHub. With STEM jobs projected to grow at a faster rate than other careers until at least 2029, programs like TECH CORPS’ Computing Career Corps expose high school students to tech careers. In a safe and supportive learning environment, Computing Career Corps students can learn, tinker and explore skills and concepts focusing on the “T” in STEM.
Starting in February, the program meets one evening a week for 15 weeks and students learn about coding, hardware and the technology careers available in their community. Students who successfully complete the program will earn a new laptop.
