The Computing to Career program launched in January with 45 hours of basic tech skill development. This summer, students completed 200 hours of training in hardware, networking, troubleshooting, customer relations and more to prepare to sit for their first industry-recognized certification exam. We are excited to share that 80% of students earned their CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certification.

TECH CORPS designed and implemented the Computing to Career program with a diverse group of students from around Franklin County. The program is sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co. and The Columbus Foundation. It gives students a suite of technology and work-readiness skills to help prepare them for in-demand technology jobs in the community. The 2022 program was hosted at Columbus State Community College.
