New Partnership

The Nordson Corporation Foundation and TECH CORPS announced a significant new partnership to increase middle school students’ access to high-quality technology summer programs.

Through a multi-year commitment, Nordson Corporation Foundation funds the expansion of TECH CORPS’ Techie Camp program in Ohio, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Georgia.

TECH CORPS Headquarters

Due to the successes of the TECH CORPS Ohio chapter as well as the local, state and national recognition of its programming, in 2011 the National TECH CORPS Board of Trustees transferred the national charter to Ohio thus establishing Columbus, Ohio as the new national TECH CORPS headquarters.

Seed Funding

With seed funding from Battelle, JPMorgan Chase and The Columbus Foundation, TECH CORPS launched programs in Ohio in 1999.

TECH CORPS was founded in 1995 by Gary Beach, Publisher Emeritus of CIO Magazine and author of The U.S. Technology Skills Gap. Sponsored by such companies as Cisco, Compaq and Intel, TECH CORPS engages a nationwide network of housands of technology volunteers in over two dozen state chapters.
