TECH CORPS is searching for a Part-Time Program Assistant to join us as we work to Educate, Excite and Empower K-12 students! This is not your typical nonprofit job!
As a Program Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day tasks for designated TECH CORPS programs throughout the year including, assisting with student and staff recruitment and retention, and preparing program materials. Reporting to the Program Assistant (full-time), you help ensure adequate resources are in place to carry out programming in the region.
Who is TECH CORPS?
For more than 25 years, TECH CORPS has worked to ensure K-12 students have equal access to Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT) programs, skills and resources that enhance early learning and prepare them for college, credential or career.
What Do We Do?
We design computer science and IT programs that are rigorous, relevant and fun. We recruit, train and support technology talent to implement TECH CORPS programs. We work with partners, who believe as we do and together, we provide students and teachers access to programs designed to educate, excite and empower.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Location: Northeast Ohio (remote work available)

- Work closely with the Program Manager to execute goals and plans for program implementation across the region.
- Support partnerships with a diverse group of program implementation partners.
- Help implement, support and evaluate TECH CORPS programs in the region.
- Help recruit, train and support TECH CORPS staff and volunteers to implement programs.
- Help recruit student participants and interact with families.
- Help Increase TECH CORPS’ visibility in the Central or Northeast Ohio region.
- Assist with program and grant reports.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
TECH CORPS is looking for a passionate, creative and collaborative professional to lead our work in the Central or Northeast Ohio area. Top candidates will have:
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and to manage multiple projects without close supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational and communication skills both written and oral.
It would be a bonus if you also had:
- Experience with using and creating spreadsheets for data collection.
- Experience with Salesforce.
