We are calling all elementary and middle school teachers to inspire their students to learn computer science!
TECH CORPS, FirstEnergy Foundation and Hyland invite elementary and middle school teachers to join us in celebrating #CSEdWeek. Simply lead a TECH CORPS Unplugged lesson during CSEdWeek (December 5-9, 2022).
Anyone can teach the unplugged lessons – no computer science background is required.
Don’t delay – Register Today!
What You’ll Be Teaching
TECH CORPS is sharing two lessons from its TECH CORPS Unplugged Kit. The unplugged approach allows learners to access computer science concepts without the use of a computer or the internet. Lessons are engaging and accessible to a variety of learners.
What You’ll Receive for participating
- Two unplugged lessons
- An opportunity to join a national movement to inspire students to learn computer science
- And a chance to win $1,000 worth of computer science materials for use in your classroom
Win for Your Classroom
Share your experience with us by doing one of the following:
- Post pictures of the lessons being implemented in your classroom on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter and tag: #TECHCORPS & #CSEdWeek
- Submit a Flipgrid video of your students implementing the lessons
Participants will be entered into a drawing to win $1,000 worth of computer science materials for use in your classroom. Hyland is sponsoring five winners this year.
Thanks to support from the FirstEnergy Foundation, elementary and middle school teachers in Akron, Elyria, Lorain and Toledo (OH) can request TECH CORPS Unplugged Kits for their students (while supplies last). The kits will be delivered to your school during #CSEdWeeek.
