Throughout the year, we hire part-time instructors and support staff for a myriad of programs across the country. Instructors and support staff are given the training, content and guidance to successfully coordinate and implement all day-to-day aspects of various TECH CORPS programs.

Current Opportunities

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. High School Tech Camp is a full day, week-long experience designed to engage high school students in hands-on, computing activities. During the camp, students are immersed in subject matter focused Programming (C#), Cyber Security or Blockchain. High School Tech Camp allows students to explore complex ideas and concepts rationally and logically as well as use technology to design and create solutions and artifacts. HS Tech Camp promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving. Program curriculum developed in partnership with Hyland Software, creator of OnBase and Franklin University.
Date: Monday – Friday between June 5th and August 11th.
Wage: $20 per hour

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. IT On Ramp program is a full day, two-week experience designed to expose students to a variety of computing topics including app development, game design, software development and web development. Through exposure, exploration and project design, this program seeks to provide students with a deeper awareness of technology pathways and prepare them for greater success in technology pathway programs in high school and beyond. Each cohort is supported by two (2) Instructors and up to 20 students.
Date: Monday – Friday for two weeks between June 5, 2023 and August 11, 2023.
Wage: $1,800 for both weeks of the program

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. IT On Ramp+ is a full-day, four-week experience designed to elevate students’ mathematical understanding and confidence in algebra and geometry through hands-on lessons focused on a variety of computing topics including app development, game design, software development, and web development. Through exposure, exploration and project design, this program seeks to provide students with a deeper awareness of technology pathways and prepare them for greater success in technology pathway programs in high school and beyond. Each cohort will be supported by two (2) Instructors and a Site Coordinator with up to 25 students.
Date: IT On Ramp+ will run between June 5, 2023 and August 4, 2023 (varies by program area).
Wage: $20 per hour

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program Techie Camp is a full day, week-long program designed to engage elementary and middle school students in hands-on, interactive STEM-related activities. Students take a deep dive into subject matter focused on Robotics, Programming, Android App Development, 3D Printing, Digital Fabrication or Web Development and emerge with skills that are useful in today’s classroom and tomorrow’s workplace. Each cohort will be supported by two (2) Instructors and up to 20 students.
Date: Techie Camps will be offered Monday – Friday between June 5, 2023 and August 18, 2023.
Time: Techie Camps typically run from 9am-4pm (hours may vary by region) with instructors onsite up to an hour before/after the camp times.
Wage: $20 per hour (amount may vary by geographic area)

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the workshop. Techie Workshops are one (1) to four (4) hour experiences designed to engage elementary, middle and high school students in hands-on computer science activities, ranging from programming or app development to robotics or 3D printing. Each workshop has two (2) instructors and up to 20 students.
Program Dates: January – December (specific dates and times TBD)
Program Locations: Sites in Ohio, Georgia and Illinois (TBD)

Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of the program. Techie Club includes hands-on, interactive lessons and activities tied directly to national Computer Science standards for students in 5th-8th grade. The lessons focus on a variety of computing topics, promote 21st-century skills and provide students with an awareness of technology and tech-related careers. Clubs will be delivered in-person with COVID-19 safety protocols.
Date: Techie Clubs will be offered in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 16 – December 16
Time: Techie Clubs typically run from 3-5pm with instructors onsite up to an hour before/after the program times.
Wage: $20 per hour
